- Plan selections, payment references, billing records, deployment identifiers, and support activity linked to your merchant account.
- Security, audit, and technical records needed to protect the portal, investigate issues, and comply with legal obligations.
Why we process your data
Your information is used for legitimate business purposes connected to merchant onboarding and service delivery.
- To create and authenticate your merchant account and keep your access secure.
- To process plan applications, billing, payment confirmation, deployment provisioning, and subscription support.
- To maintain accounting, audit, fraud-prevention, and compliance records required by law or by our service operations.
Sharing, retention, and protection
We limit access to authorized personnel and service providers that are needed to complete merchant transactions.
- Payment and checkout information may be shared with PayMongo and related payment-processing services only as needed to complete your transaction.
- Merchant records are retained while your account or subscription remains active and afterward only for support, audit, tax, accounting, dispute, or legal retention requirements.
- We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect merchant data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or loss.
Merchant responsibility for client data
Each merchant using this platform is responsible for protecting subscriber and client personal data inside their own deployment.
- Limit access to subscriber records to authorized personnel with a legitimate business need.
- Use client data only for billing, service management, support, lawful compliance, and other properly disclosed purposes.
- Provide your own client-facing privacy notice that explains what data you collect, why you collect it, how long you keep it, who may access it, and how data subjects may exercise their rights.
Your rights and concerns
You may request access to or correction of your merchant account information and raise privacy concerns with us.
- You may contact us regarding access, correction, account updates, or other privacy-related concerns about your merchant account.
- If you believe your personal data has been handled improperly, you may also raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
- This notice is designed to support the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the NPC guidance on the right to be informed.
Contact for privacy concerns
Public email addresses and phone numbers are intentionally hidden on guest merchant pages. Please continue through the merchant portal after account access is established to receive private support details when needed.
